Position Overview
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning systems that drive our data-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
Collaborate with data scientists to analyze and preprocess data.
Build and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines.
Optimize models for performance and efficiency.
Train, retrain, and monitor machine learning systems and models as needed.
Conduct experiments and validate model performance using appropriate metrics.
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
Document processes and present findings to stakeholders.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging models and applications.
Qualifications
Understanding of data structures, data modelling, software architecture and software scalability.
Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, particularly writing machine learning systems in Python that were put into production.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Proficiency with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn.
Understanding of software development best practices and experience applying them.
Strong experience with data processing tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with automating deployments using Helm.
Experience with particularities and limitations of data formats like Arrow and Parquet is desirable.
