Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Integrations Focus) to build and scale the integration layer connecting NestorBird’s platform with third-party systems. You will develop resilient backend services using PHP/Laravel and intuitive self-serve configuration interfaces using React, supporting high-volume data synchronization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop secure, scalable API integrations using PHP/Laravel.
Build resilient systems to handle API failures, rate limits, retries, and data inconsistencies using Laravel Jobs & Queues
Develop React-based self-serve dashboards for managing integrations and data mappings.
Write clean, well-tested code using PHPUnit and Jest.
Optimize performance for high-volume data processing and complex SQL queries.
Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver integration features.
Troubleshoot complex issues across APIs, webhooks, queues, and external services.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong SaaS integration exposure.
Deep expertise in PHP/Laravel beyond basic CRUD operations.
Strong React skills, including Hooks, functional components, and complex state management.
Hands-on experience with REST & GraphQL APIs, OAuth 2.0, and rate limiting.
Strong MySQL schema design skills for high-write and logging-heavy systems.
Ability to debug distributed systems and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.
Nice to Have
Experience with AdTech or Retail/Commerce APIs.
Familiarity with AWS or cloud infrastructure.
